Eva de Ramirez

Eva De Ramirez passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughters, on October 12th, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on September 15th, 1947, she was known for her elegance, her love for family and friends, her hospitality, and her endless ability to make things and people beautiful. She always made sure everyone around her was taken care of and well fed.

She worked as a housekeeper, a florist, and secretary-all steppingstones along her path. She is best known for her 40-plus years as a cosmetologist and esthetician. Her career began at the Fenix Hotel in Guadalajara, setting her trajectory toward becoming a successful businesswoman. She owned three beauty salons known as "Eva's Beauty Salon," a novelty store, and a flower shop called "Little Flower and Gift Shop," all located at the Crawfords Market shopping centers.

Beyond her entrepreneurial success, she was the older sister who bore the duty of helping raise all her siblings. She was an amazing mother who showed her daughters how to be independent and strong, but her favorite role by far was being the best grandmother. She was an amazing leader, teacher, and the absolute best host for all events and holidays. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters Rebecca, Cristyna, Cecilia, and Belen, and their spouses Ramon, Victor, Brian, and Shawn; her grandchildren Nadia, David, Ian, Marcus, Derek, Dominick, Genevieve, Shawna, and Tyler; her four sisters and six brothers; and, as an honorable mention, her faithful four-legged companion, Ms. Lady.

Eva's life was characterized by service and dedication to her loved ones. She loved gardening, cooking, and creating all different types of crafts, from porcelain flowers to crocheted blankets. She cared for everyone and made them feel loved. She will be remembered for her kindness, her service, her elegance and beauty, but more than anything, for the impact she made on so many people's lives.
