

He was born in Los Angeles , CA on February 1, 1944 to Lawrence Henry Chafe and Nellie Beatrice Chafe. They were blessed with a large family of 12 children!
He attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic School and Mt. Carmel High School. After graduation he had many different jobs. He started a successful maintenance business in the LA area, then later became a licensed contractor in 1972. After relocating to the high desert he used his skills and built homes in Lake Los Angeles and commercial businesses. He also taught VV High School youth to prepare them with hands-on building skills for two years.
He then decided to become a licensed Realtor. A career he loved and excelled at for thirty years until his health would no longer allow him to work. He spent the last years of his life with many health problems which kept him in bed most of the time. He kept himself busy studying the bible, watching his favorite shows and listening to his favorite music.
He was preceded in death by many of his brothers and his older sister Helene. He also lost his youngest daughter, Frances, in 2023 at 45 years old.
He was a brave man, accepting his many health setbacks with courage and peace. Eternal rest.
