In Loving Memory of Frank Gonzales
Frank, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on August 10th, 2026.
He was a man of strong faith who loved Jesus deeply and cherished his family above all else. His life was marked by faith, hard work, service, determination, and a love for the people around him. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy that will continue through the many generations of his family.
Throughout his life, he wore many hats. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, worked as a meatpacking supervisor, and was a pilot. He was also an accomplished athlete, enjoying the challenge, discipline, and camaraderie that came with sports. He was a hardworking man who took pride in providing for and caring for family.
More than anything, he loved his family. He was one of five brothers and leaves behind a family whose lives were deeply touched by his presence. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nina Gonzales, with whom he shared 79 years of love and memories. He is survived by his daughter, Frances Vargas, daughter-in-law Maria Gonzales, grandchildren: Rudy Gonzales (Sandra), Theresa Sharp (Mike), Victoria Gibson (Kelly), Tony Villanueva, and Frank Gonzales (Rachel). He was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, whose lives will forever carry a piece of his love and legacy. He was preceded in death by his son Rudy Gonzales and son-in law Mariano Vargas.
Though he will be greatly missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that he loved Jesus and that his faith was an important part of his life. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the generations of family who will continue to carry his legacy.
