Georgette Dolores Phillips

Georgette grew up in the Buffalo, NY area with her siblings Edward and Nanette. She married her childhood sweetheart, Richard Phillips, on May 3, 1965. Richard and Georgette had a wonderful 53 years of marriage together and had 5 children: Cheryl, Richard Jr. (Lisa), Jacob (Tammie), Kelly (Dan), David (James) and honorary daughter, Marigail. Georgette was also the beloved Nana to 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Known as Mrs. Phillips to countless students over the years Georgette was extremely passionate about teaching. From Sunday School, La Petite Academy, Victor Valley High School, Silverado High School, Goodwill High School and Academic Innovations you could find her mentoring students and colleagues. She radiated love and has left an incredible legacy through all of those she taught.

Services for Georgette will be on Thursday September 27, 2018 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park located at 24000 Waalew Road in Apple Valley, CA.

Viewing will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with services beginning at 6:00 PM and a reception to follow immediately.
