It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jesus Emanuel Solis, affectionately known as Manny, on May 1, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Manny touched the lives of many with his strong spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for life. He brought joy to everyone around him and lived fully and fearlessly, leaving behind memories we will forever cherish.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Pereda Tsuwa; his parents, Jesus B. Solis and Adriana Solis; his sisters, Ruby Solis and Iris Solis; and his brothers, Ismael Solis and Antonio Solis.
Manny proudly served our nation for six years as a Cyber Systems Operations Technician in the United States Air Force. During his time stationed in Japan, he not only found a deep appreciation for the culture but also met the love of his life, Joanne. After his honorable discharge, he remained in Japan, continuing to serve as a NetOps Lead Mid for the Marine Corps base, where he provided invaluable IT support to thousands. Manny was known as a dedicated and exceptional team member, deeply respected by his colleagues and managers alike.
A memorial service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary. The viewing will take place from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, followed by the funeral service from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. His final resting place will be at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
Manny was truly special—a devoted husband, a cherished son, a loving brother, and a loyal friend. He lived life true to himself, with authenticity, courage, and heart. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. We are so proud of who he was, the life he lived, and how he lived it—his way.
