John-David Matthew Potts "Matt" entered our lives on August 3, 1993 and entered his eternal home in Heaven on August 30, 2015. His heart was always tender and compassion marked his life. He also really did love practical jokes and making people laugh! In the 22 years he was with us he built an amazing legacy of Love. It started as a young boy when he was 7 he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and continues still in the lives of those he touched. He did many things in his short life but none greater than love. He believed there was no greater calling and he lived it well.

His legacy of Love lives on through his parents, Dave & Christine; his sisters Sharon & Sarah, his brothers-in-love Kenny & Randy; his beloved nieces Rhaylee, Taelyn & Addison and his eagerly awaited nephew Britton. His love also lives on in his beloved Brittany whom had captured his heart. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends-who were really family, are also part of that legacy. Matt would want us to smile, to choose joy and to love unconditionally, just as His Savior does.
