Joseph was born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal and has been a resident of Spring Valley Lakes for 20 years. He worked 40 years with Ralph Grocery as a truck driver.
Joseph is survived by his wife Rosslyn; two sons, Daniel Valadao, Joseph Valadao; two step daughters, Leigh Rabideaux and Joy Deyarmond; his sister Mary Ann Valadao, brother David Valadao, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her was pre deceased by his son Gary.
Rosary will be recited Thursday March 14 at 11 a.m. with Liturgy service to follow at Sunset Hills Mortuary.
Memorial contribution are asked to be made in Josephs' name to City of Hope Medical Center, 1500 E Duarte Rd, Duarte, CA 91010.
