Kenneth Duane Woods

Kenneth Duane Woods passed away peacefully on September 14 2024 at the age of 72. Born to Lewis Richard and Helga Woods on February 19 1952. He was known for his love of his family, love for vehicles and music, quick wit and his love of culinary arts and outdoor cooking. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Pamela Woods, daughters Sunshine & Amanda, son Steven, and grandchildren, Ryan, Caitlin, Alex, Chris, Haydin, Paul, and Lucien. His brothers Larry and Harold, sisters Suzy, Leanne and Linda. As well as his many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his Father Lewis Richard Woods, mother Helga Woods, brothers Bobby, Ronnie, Carl, and Raymond.

Kenneth's life was characterized by his fast paced lifestyle and his love of having fun with those he loved. He will be remembered for love of Nascar and cooking, his ability to fix anything and everything that came his way, and his unwavering love for his family. “If Papa can’t fix it, nobody can”

Ken worked at Shelton’s as a meat cutter. He worked at Bill’s tree service. He worked as a water truck driver for Edginton Water Truck Rentals. He later went on to buy his own water truck. He spent the last years that he worked at Apple Valley Christian School.

A Celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held October 4th, with the viewing starting at 10am, and the service at 11am. In the meantime, condolences may be added and sent through this website
