Linda Dillard passed away at the age of 75 years old. She was born on December 27, 1947 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Eli and Juanita Blackburn. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa, and stepson, James, five grandchildren and one great grandchild, her brother, James, and sister, Patricia and her niece and nephews .
Linda was the middle child with an older brother and younger sister. She was a long time resident of the High Desert for over 65 years. She worked for the Hesperia post office for 34 years in various positions: carrier, front desk clerk, and p.o. Box clerk. She was a hard worker and prided herself on helping customers and doing the best job that she could. She was married to Wayne Dillard for 45 years until his death in 2016. Her favorite hobbies were photography, sewing, history, collecting antiques, dolls, and plates. She loved to travel with her husband to Colorado during the summer and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister and she will be missed.
