

Marie Stein-Mosset (81) of Apple Valley, Ca passed away December 14, 2022. Born Marie Ann Vollmuth on April 24, 1941 to Albin and Elizabeth (Klingler) Vollmuth in Selfridge, ND where she grew up with her nine brothers on the family farm. She graduated from Selfridge High School in 1959 and attended Bismarck Junior College and Natural Business College in Rapid City, SD. In 1960, she married Jack Bigger, and they moved to California where they raised three sons, Del, Eric, and Michael.
After her boys were grown, Marie got her real estate license and went to work for Century 21 and later Coldwell Banker in Apple Valley. It was through real estate that she met Neil Stein. they were married in 1989 and were together until his death in 2002. After a chance encounter back in North Dakota, Marie found love again in Milt Mosset. they were married in 2006. Marie continued to work in real estate into her 80's. In her spare time, spending quality time with Milt and her longtime friends. Milt and Marie found a love for camping in their motorhome and were part of a camping group with people from all over the southwest. Marie was a loving grandmother, who devoted countless hours with her granddaughters, Myranda and Madison. Her dedication to the girls through the years was her biggest priority. She was always happy to read to them when they were young, host tea parties and produce homemade fashion shows. Marie was always there for every important event, even when they moved to Florida, making a point to be there for birthdays, awards, and graduations. Marie understood and taught others that the greatest gift you can give and the best expression of love is your time.
Marie is survived by her husband, Milt; son's, Del, Eric (Cindy), and Mike; granddaughters, Myranda and Madison, as well as brothers, Richard, George, Nick, Jerry, Jack, Fred, and Pat along with their families.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albin and Elizabeth; brothers, Jim and Tom, as well as Jack Bigger and Neil Stein.
Memorial services to be held on Saturday, February 18th from 11am-1pm at Sunset Hills Memorial Park
