Martha Marie Dillingham

1957 – 2025

Martha “Marty” Marie Dillingham, of Oak Hills, California, passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2025, at the age of 68, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. Born in Long Beach, California, Marty made her home in Oak Hills, where she built a life filled with laughter, love, and creativity.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Michael Dillingham; her children, Robert Dillingham and Michelle Sweet; and her beloved granddaughters, Tesla and Freya, who brought her endless joy.

Known for her warmth, humor, and adventurous spirit, Marty loved dragons, sewing, baking, playing games, and spending time with her friends in the Red Hat Society and her Mahjong group. She was an excellent baker who delighted her family and friends with her homemade treats. Her greatest joy was her family, who will forever carry her love and spirit in their hearts.

A funeral service celebrating Marty’s life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley, California. Graveside service will take place at 12:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories of a special woman who will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A funeral service will be held on November 21, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Sunset Hills Mortuary, located at 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307.

A graveside service will follow on the same day, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm, also at Sunset Hills Mortuary.

A reception will take place afterward from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at the same location.
