Born in Sun Valley, CA in 1965 to Julio Perez and Bertha Duran, Martha loved her family immensely and always had a desire for a thriving, loving family of her own. She was educated at San Fernando High School before becoming a wonderful stay-at-home mom. Later, she began her career as a highly skilled payroll consultant for Automatic Data Processing (ADP), where she worked for over 20 years.
Martha’s sudden passing comes as a shock to her family, friends, and all who knew her. She was a bright, vibrant woman who lived fully and still had so many years ahead of her. She was taken far too soon.
During this difficult time, the family asks for privacy as they navigate their grief.
Martha was preceded in death by her father, Julio Perez, and is survived by her mother Bertha Duran; two brothers, Ruben Duran and Anthony Perez; and her three children: Baltazar Murillo III, Manny Murillo, and Diamond Taranto.
Her funeral and graveside burial will be held on December 1st, 2025, at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary. Reception to follow after the service and burial. Donations to St. Joseph’s Indian School would be greatly appreciated.
