

Pat was married to Robert D. Adams, Bob predeceased Pat in 2005 after 41 years of marriage. They enjoyed all forms of travel from camping to cruising. Bob spoiled her with his outstanding cooking talents including making her daily sack lunches all through her teaching years.
Pat retired from Hesperia School District after being a highly regarded teacher and administrator. Pat had many passions as a teacher, reading was her special interest as she focused on the primary grades. She was past president of the Mountain-Desert Reading Council. Over the span of many decades she taught and served generations of school children having touched so many lives while teaching.
Prior to moving to the high desert, she taught in Arizona, in 1990 she was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year in Mesa, Arizona. Pat received her AA degree from Pasadena City College, Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton and Master’s degree from the University of Arizona.
She was an active member and held countless leadership positions within Beta Sigma Phi, California Retired Teachers Assn., Delta Kappa Gamma, American Association of University Women, Republican Women and PEO.
Grandmother of two Rugby players, Christopher and Todd Clever, she traveled the world watching them play rugby. One highlight was going to the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia to cheer on Todd and the USA team. As an avid fan she was keen on keeping scores during the International Rugby 7’s Tournaments, everyone knew they could go to her for the standings.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either PEO or Delta Kappa Gamma.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Community Church at Jess Ranch 11537 Apple Valley Road, Rev. Mike Coffee officiating.
Private burial will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside.
