

Phillip Albert Hultquist passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on June 15, 1959, in Apple Valley, California, Phillip was known for his quick wit, playful sense of humor, and humble nature. He brought joy to those around him and had a gift for making people laugh, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Phillip spent his entire life in the desert he called home, where he grew up, built a life, and raised his family alongside his beloved wife. He dedicated many years of hard work as a member of HOD Carriers Labors Local 783, taking pride in providing for his family and contributing to his community.
He had a deep love for football, was a devoted fan of the Dodgers, and found happiness in boating and four-wheeling. Above all, Phillip cherished time spent with his family, who were the center of his world.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Renee Hultquist (Maynard); his two sons, Phillip Hultquist (Sherry) and Sidney Hultquist; and his cherished grandson, Raymond Hultquist. He is also survived by his sisters, Joanne Gavin (Hultquist) and Laurie Coyer (Hultquist); his sisters-in-law, Rhea Czarnota (Maynard) and Denise Campbell (Maynard); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Phillip’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
