He was born on 22 October 1939 in Juarez, Mexico to Jose and Olivia Reyes. Robert spent his life in civil service as a heavy equipment operator and spent time with family and friends. He joined the Marine Corp in 1957 and was stationed at Marine Corp Logistics Base Nebo, Barstow California.
He is survived by wife Teresa Camacho Cardenas, sister Nena Reyes, brother Ernie Reyes, daughter Celeste Hampton, son Michael Reyes, grandchildren Shannon Laroga, Rachel Laymon, Halle Patterson, Jackie Hampton, Gabriel Reyes and Olivia Reyes. He was preceded in death by daughter Rita McKernan brother Eddie Reyes, Ray Reyes and sister Margarita Villagran.
Robert will be remembered for his dedication and love of driving heavy machines, trucks and generosity with family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on 17 April 2026 at 9:45 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.
