Robert Squire, 83 of Hesperia California died October 28, 2019. Robert was born in Wisconsin to John and Lillian Squire. He had nine brothers and sisters. In Wisconsin he grew up on a farm and talked about it often. Robert moved to California when he was 14 years old.
Robert was a very proud Union Ironworker for 30 years out of Local 433. There wasn’t a day that went by that he didn’t talk about how much he loved his job as an Ironworker. And how fortunate he was to have the job, providing a great living for his family.
Robert loved spending time with family and friends. Bird watching from his living room. Watching his White Sox play baseball. Also watching his Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers play football. Even though at times not happy with any of them. He loved the game of golf. He loved to travel. And in his younger days he did a lot of hunting, fishing and camping. He loved the outdoors. He liked working in the yard and puttering around his garage.
Robert Squire is survived by his daughter Susan Moore of Hesperia, California. Daughter Barbara Denny and husband James of Bandera, Texas. Grandson Jeremiah Moore and wife Katy of Hesperia, California. Granddaughter Sarah Verstuyft and husband Ryan of Bandera, Texas. Granddaughter Jessica Denny and Dan of Wasilla, Alaska. Granddaughter Natasha Denny and John of Helotes, Texas. He also had four great grandchildren Jorge, Kale, Boone, and Teagan. His brother James Squire and wife Jeannie of Hesperia, California. And Lindsey Moore of Hesperia, California.
