Roland Thomas Denmark

Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Roland Thomas Denmark, age 69, was laid to rest on June 23,, 2015 in Cedar City Utah. Roland was born on March 23, 1946 in Julliet Park, Illinois to Theodore Mcduffy Treubador and Glodine Decker Denmark. He married his high school sweetheart, Joy Carol Denmark. Roland was one who believed work hard play hard. He enjoyed life to the fullest.Roland was a member of the Model A Club in Victorville and Victor Valley 4 Wheelers. Some of his passions were building 2 CJ5s, one being a race jeep, and building a 1971 Chevy short bed. He enjoyed sand drags in such places such a Pismo and Dumont Dunes. In his younger years he hunted in Hesperia, which led to hunting, fishing and hiking in Cedar City, Utah. From Cottonwood Cove to Havasu to Lake Powell, he was a true river rat. The best part of his passions was it always included his family, which is what was so special about this man. Such Business ventures were, Field and Denmark Constructions, Denmark Construction, Super Truss Inc. Cedar Valley Truss, Iron Ridge Development and Shed World in Cedar Utah.

Roland is survived by his wife, Joy carol Denmark, formally of Cedar City, Utah. His mother Glodine Denmark, children Amber (Jerry) Micham of Hesperia, CA and Shannon (Kerrie) Denmark of Apple Valley, CA. His 7 grandchildren, Alexis Denmark, Connor Denmark, Curtis Denmark, Lola Denmark, Jess Denmark, Austin Micham and Ciara Micham and his brothers, Cliff Denmark of Apline, CA and Neal Denmark of Aromas, CA.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. at Sunset Hills Memorial Park.
