

Rudy Montoya Corella passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024 at the age 80. Born on July 09, 1944, he was known for his funny sense of Humor, and how great he loved his family. Since he was Born and Raised in East Los Angeles, He was a diehard lifelong Fan of the LA Dodgers, the LA Lakers and of the LV Raiders. For 30 plus years he provided for his family by working as a Truck Driver for a produce company. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his third wife Elisa Corella, Daughters Ruby Corella, Natalie Corella, Jackie Bellows, Verainna Bellows and Lisa Hetzler Gregory and two sons James Bellows and Luis Hetzler. 8 Grand daughters and 14 grandsons, 7 great grand-daughters and 9 great grandsons and Countless nieces and Nephews. His sisters Velma (Tweedy) Corella, Sylvia Corella and Angela Torres, His Brothers Hyle (Alfred) Campbell and David Corella. He was preceded in death by his Mother Hortencia Corella, Father Manuel Corella, Sister Aurelia (Yolanda) Torres, Brother Samuel Corella, daughter Dolores Corella and his first wife Josephine and 2nd wife Yolanda.
Rudy Montoya Corella's life was characterized by being a hard worker, and Provider. He was Very proud of his 17 years of sobriety. He wasn’t a Rich or Wealthy man but his life was full with Love and Family. In his last week of life he was very surprised of how many people came to sit and visit with him. He will be remembered for being a Great Dad, Brother, Uncle, and Awesome Papa. He made sure his grandkids had breakfast, before he walked them to and from school every day. We will miss his rough tickles and Knee-Knees.
