Mrs. Sharon Kay McAllister, 83, died at 10:30 am Monday, April 1, 2024, at Joy Residential Care in Apple Valley, California. She was in failing health in the past 4 months due to an infection of her two lower legs because of a rose branch puncturing her leg just above the ankle. That caused a fungus to occur and that metastasized into mrsa which had to be treated by a wound center in St. Mary’s Hospital. While she was in that hospital they ran a CT Scan and found out her brain was hemorrhaging and had to be sent to Loma Linda University Hospital. They were able to stop the hemorrhaging with medication. From that point on it seems her body was ready to give up. She was transferred to Joy Residential Care on the 29th of March and then died April 1.
