

William "Jack" Golden passed away peacefully at home in Apple Valley the morning of December 19, 2018 after a sudden decline of health at the age of 90. He was surrounded and supported by his daughter Patricia (Pattie), her family, and very loving caregivers the last 2-1/2 years of his life.
Jack is survived by his two sons Bruk Golden, Fred (Janine) Golden, two daughters Eve Sigall and Patricia (Jack) McBrayer. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Nicole, Dustin, Michael, Shawn and Raymond, as well as three great grandchildren.
Jack is preceded in death by his mother Esther (Roth) Taub, and wife Mary "Betty" (Foerster) Golden.
Jack started working at a very young age while going to school. He was a veteran and served in the Air Corps in 1946 for 1-1/2 years and served during World War II.
He didn't have any hobbies except working. He was self-employed most if not all of his adult life. He started the first cultured marble business in Hawaii. He also was in the tile and remodeling business.
Jack and Betty were married in 1971 for 46 wonderful years. In 1980, they bought the KFC franchise in the high desert. They lived in Apple Valley for 34 years. He was an entrepreneur.
Jack was a loving husband, very special father and grandpa. He will always be remembered and missed dearly.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Hills Mortuary, 24000 Waalew Road in Apple Valley
