Alice Faye (Wallace) Harrington was born on December 31, 1939 in Columbus, Georgia to Joseph C. Wallace and Minnie Brock. She was the youngest of two boys and four girls.
She went to school in Columbus, Georgia. Alice had a special affinity for art, fashion and especially hair design. She graduated from Cosmetology College in Atlanta, Georgia in the early 1960’s. She enjoyed working many years as a Beautician/Cosmetologist in Columbus, Georgia before meeting and marrying Earl W. Harrington. They married in Columbus, Georgia on Valentine’s Day, 1967. She moved with her husband and two daughters; Julie and Janice to Arlington, TX in January, 1971.
She was a loving, caring, loyal, and devoted wife to Earl Wesley Harrington for over 57 years at the time of her passing. She showed the same loyalty and devotion to her daughters, grandson “Sonny,” grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
It is in THIS way that she touched so many hearts…
Her honest, loyalty, devotion, and sincerity shown to her husband and family is an unmatched “Badge of Honor” she wore with dignity and pride throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Minnie Wallace, brothers Kenneth and Dempsey, sister Mable Jackson and daughter Janice Lee Harringon-Saurez.
She is survived by husband Earl W. Harrington, daughter Julie Harrington, sisters Margie Woodfin and Jewel Wells, granddaughters Nicole and Faye, grandsons Mitchell. Todd Houston, Jr., Joangel Janier, Omar, and J’Luciano. Dear loved family Stephanie and Rene. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family throughout California, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida.
Alice Faye (Wallace) Harrington put her husband and family first and foremost throughout her life with total devotion, loyalty, and the upmost of honor and sincerity.
She will be greatly missed to all that had the honor and privilege to meet and really know her loving steadfastness of heart…
