She was born in Bad Homburg, Germany, to Friedrich and Auguste Forster on September 10, 1936.
On October 24, 1953, at the tender age of 17, she married the love of her life, a GI named Angelo Andreola who was stationed in Germany. Together, they moved back to America and started their family life together in the Bronx, New York where Anneliese was introduced to the Italian-American way of life. She did not speak either English or Italian. She learned to speak English by watching the soap opera "As the World Turns" on TV. She was known as a great cook and baker to her family and friends and if you came to visit you came to eat. In 1978, Angelo and Anneliese moved to Arlington, Texas. For 27 years, she worked in retail at Sanger Harris, Foley's and Macy's Department Stores at Six Flags Mall.
In her free time, she enjoyed camping, gardening, and loved taking care of her home. Anneliese and Angelo were members of the Italian-American club Casa D'Italia of Arlington for many years and played a vital role in the community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Friedrich and Auguste; her husband, Angelo Andreola; her siblings, Gisela Morris, Henriette Wolf, Gerda Schmitt and Friedrich Forster.
Anneliese is survived by her children, Frank Andreola (Mary), Michael Andreola (Suzie); grandchildren, Jessica Andreola-Parker (David), Stacey Andreola, and Elizabeth Andreola-Sharum (Jake); her sibling, Rosemarie Bailey, her sister-in-law, Ann Burns and her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Parker, as well as many other family members and friends.
