With heavy hearts, the Steinmetz family regrets to announce the passing of Arthur "Paul" Steinmetz III on Saturday, May 8th 2021. Paul was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 4th, 1964, to Arthur Paul Steinmetz II and Darlene Minyard. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1982. Paul attended the University of Texas at Arlington and found his true passion working alongside his father as a dental ceramist and persevered in making the best crowns and bridges possible for his patients. His work ethic was unwavering and he thrived on creating beautiful teeth that made thousands of people smile. Paul went on to meet the love of his life, Jill, and they were married in June of 1987. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Zachary and Katie. Paul enjoyed golfing, fishing, drag-racing, and playing softball. He persistently gave his all to watch over his little brothers, be a great son, and provide endlessly for his family. Paul's faith was a constant throughout his life and we are comforted to know he is now resting peacefully in God's loving arms.
Paul was survived by his wife of 33 years, Jill, their son, Zachary (Jenn) and daughter, Katie (Chris). His mother Darlene and brothers Eric, Michael (Angie), Adam (Darci) and niece and nephew Diana and Jacob. Aunt and uncle, Tim and Nancy Steenbock, Charlotte McGill and Carolyn Guidry. As well as many cousins, loyal lifelong friends and his faithful four-legged companions, Sunny and Sophie.
He was preceded in death by grandparents James and Dora Minyard, Art and Jaramilla Steinmetz; father Arthur Paul Steinmetz II; father and mother-in-law C. Dorsey and Norma Bohlman. Infant brother, James Allen and his uncles Billy McGill and Sid Guidry.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their love and support in this difficult time. We are overwhelmed by the out-pouring of love for our family and the precious memories shared of LP. We love you all!
