Barbara was born December 21, 1949 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Earl Elmo and Patricia Lorene (Bledsoe) Beeson. While she was an infant, her family moved to Paducah, Texas and then later to Fort Worth. She attended Trimble Tech High School. She married the love of her life, Tommie Harvey, on July 29, 1967 and they had 53 happy years together.
Barbara was a school nurse and music teacher at Temple Christian School in Fort Worth. She also taught Sunday school classes and Children's Choir at Worth Baptist Church where she was a member since 1983.
In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed fishing, scrapbooking, and singing. But her main passion in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her voice and her smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Elmo and Patricia Lorene (Bledsoe) Beeson; brother, Dennis Ray Beeson; and infant sister, Patricia Ann Beeson.
Survivors: loving husband, Tommie Harvey; children, Tammie Meek and husband, Scott, Damon Harvey and wife, Leslie, and Patricia Manuel and fiancée, Richard Walker; brother, Marty Beeson and wife, Marilyn; grandchildren, Jerry Manuel, Andrew Songer, Tiffany Pruitt and husband, Micah, Amber Pugh and husband, Daniel, Brette Harvey, Floyd Manuel, Dakota Harvey, and Dusty Manuel; great-grandchildren, Jaidyn Pugh, Kylie Pruitt, Jaycie Pugh, and Jewel Pugh; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
