She was born in Frostburg, Maryland and raised in Mt. Savage, Maryland, the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. Barb was a mother to all. She touched the lives of everyone she met and spent her life as a caregiver to those who needed it the most. The world is dimmer without her and Heaven that much brighter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Jim McCormack, Daughter, Carol Schuch, son, Robert Matheis, granddaughter Amber Schuch.
A private service will be held at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Peoria, Illinois.
