Barbara June Smith

Barbara June Smith, age 77, passed away on May 28, 2025, in Arlington, TX. She was born on September 21, 1947, in Orange, TX to Nannie Lee Ard Brazier and Frank Pierce Brazier. Barbara “Junie” was raised in Keene, TX.

She married Jeppie McCormick Jr. in 1971 and the couple had 4 children. Her family and friends will remember her for her generosity and affection; as a loving wife, dedicated to her children, and steadfast in her belief in God. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Brazier, second son, Jason Reid McCormick, and second husband, Monnie Smith.

Left to mourn her loss but to cherish her memory are her surviving sons, Stuart McCormick, Brian McCormick, and Adam McCormick; her grandson, Jason Reid McCormick Jr.; and her sisters, Georgia Greenhill, Nancy Goss, and Jackie Evans.

A visitation for Barbara will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM with a Funeral to follow the visitation at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012.
