Wayne was born in Abilene, TX, on August 21, 1948, to Calvin and Lavon Perry.
Wayne loved to work and took great pride in his work. He was a paint contractor for his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps. He also loved to spend time at the lake and was an avid fisherman.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 20 years, Robin Perry of Burleson, TX. He is also survived by sons Michael of Fort Worth and Mark of Midland, TX, and stepson David Roberts of Graham.
Wayne has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved each one immensely and was very proud of all of them.
He is also survived by brothers Jimmy Perry, Doug Perry, and Jerry Perry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara; his first wife, Wanda; and his beloved daughter, Misty.
Visitation will be held on September 9, 2026, at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, TX, at 11:00 a.m., with the service to follow at noon. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., followed by a short reception at 1:30 p.m.
Wayne will be laid to rest next to his first wife, Wanda, and his beloved daughter, his angel, Misty, in Arlington, Texas.
