Beth Ann Waddell

Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial: will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born Feb. 19, 1929, to Oscar and Lillian Ryan in Livingston.

Beth Ann Waddell spent her entire professional career dedicated to the lives of the elderly as the assistant administrator of the Masonic Home for the Aged from 1963 to 1971. She continued as a nursing home administrator of several nursing homes in the Metroplex including the Eastern Star Home, Oak Haven Nursing Center, and Silver Haven Nursing Center. Her love for God, children, animals and her family will live in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Waddell; parents, Oscar and Lillian Ryan; and brother, Theodore Moffett Ryan.

Survivors: Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Gary Waddell of Arlington; daughter, Terri Fisher and her husband, Boyd, of Granbury; brother, Oscar Truitt Ryan and his wife, Pat, of Plainview; and grandchildren, Jonathan Tanksley, Joseph David Kenner and Rebecca Ann Bielinski.
