Betty Caryl Petty

Visitation: Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas.

Celebration of Life: 2:00 Monday at First Christian Church in Arlington, Texas.

Betty, known to her family as “Me-Me,” was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. She spent time growing up in Kentucky where she developed a love for basketball & became an avid Dallas Mavericks fan! She had a great sense of humor & was happiest when she was with her family. She loved to travel, especially to Hawaii. Her passion was music. She had a beautiful voice & sang in the choir at First Christian Church where she was a member for 58 years.

Betty was preceded in death by the love of her life, Bill Petty, who she was married to for 58 years. From Heaven she watches over her brother, Wendell Carnall & wife Donna, son Bobby Petty & wife Mary Dawn, daughter Susan Jiura & husband Charles, & daughter Sandy Angell & husband Hank Angell. Also left to cherish her memory are eight grandchildren & 19 great-grandchildren.
