

Beverly Jean Fox was born November 30, 1925, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Her parents were Robert Shields, a railroad engineer and, Doris Shields, a retail sales clerk and a homemaker. As a high school teenager, Beverly met Charles Fox, a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls. They were married in1943.
Beverly was a homemaker and Charles was career Air Force. After Charles retired from the Air Force, he became a school teacher in Dallas, and they, along with her mother Doris, lived in Dallas and the Arlington area until his death in 1984. Beverly and Charles had one son, Charles Robert (Bob) Fox, who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his wife of 46 years, Lynda. After her husband’s death, Beverly and her mother moved to Las Vegas to be near her son and his wife. After her mother's death in 1990, Beverly lived in senior apartments and later in an assisted living facility in Las Vegas.
Beverly was a fun-loving lady who enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and playing games. She took tap dancing lessons as a child and, later as a senior in Las Vegas, she was part of a senior dance troop which entertained at senior facilities. She and her husband participated in square dancing when they lived in Texas. They also had a camper and Beverly, Charles and Doris went to camping events with friends when they lived in Arlington.
