Billie was born March 25, 1930 in Terrell to Johnnie and Vera Vance. She married the love of her life, William Gene Martin, on October 26, 1946 and together they started a family. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Arlington. In her spare time, Billie loved to craft. She had the ability to see items and give them new life with her artistic abilities. She also was a seamstress, made jewelry, and was a bowling instructor for numerous years as well as a very active member of the Arlington Women's Bowling Association. She greatly enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers and was apt to cheer them on as well as give advice to the T.V. But her biggest passion in life was her family, especially her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was everyone's biggest fan and she never missed a practice, game, or tournament. Her outgoing personality and sense of humor touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Vera Vance; husband of 55 years, William Gene Martin; and grandson, Aaron Martin.
