Billie Jeane Weedon

December 25, 1925 - November 30, 2021

Billie Jeane was born and grew up in Denton, Texas. There she met and married the love of her life, Luther Daniel Weedon, Sr in 1944. She was the only child of Blanche Naugle Strother. She married into the Reverend Frank and Lucille Weedon family, that included 7 children including Dan. All except her sister-in-law Martha Glasgow have preceded her in death.

She and Dan settled in Arlington to raise their children. When her children reached a more independent age, she began work in retail. That work included The Fair in Arlington. She later worked at Sheplers.

She and Dan were active in their church, and when he passed away, she found solace volunteering at Lake Arlington Baptist Church. Her hobbies included cooking, canning, quilting and fishing

Survivors include Sons, L. Dan Weedon, Jr. (wife-Edna) & Kenneth Weedon, and Daughters, Lisa (husband-Gary) and Laura Weedon. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations to the local Alzheimer’s association would be welcome.

Graveside service will on 12-14-2021 at Moore Funeral Home Cemetery at 2:00pm
