Rev. Burton served as pastor of the Mineral Wells Church of the Nazarene from 1988 to1998.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda, and four children: Celeste Marshall of Mansfield, TX, Lyle Burton of Willow Park, TX, Cathy Sabine of Arlington, TX and Janet Slaten of Victoria, TX and seven grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at the Crossroads Tabernacle, 1470 Morrison Dr., Fort Worth, TX with Rev. Jane Hughes pastor of the Minerals Wells Church of the Nazarene officiating. Visitation is a 10:00 a.m. Thursday and the memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington.
