

Billye ‘Faye’ Perkins of Arlington, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on June 1, 2016 at the age of 85. She was born on June 26, 1930 to Clarence Strawd and Alta Fannie Floyd in De Leon, Texas. Faye married George Charles “Chuck” Perkins on November 30, 1951 and they made their home in Arlington. Faye enjoyed a long career at LTV in Grand Prairie, Texas where she retired after 45 years of service. Faye had a passion for traveling, especially cruises, and has seen the world in her lifetime. She loved life and lived it to the fullest! Faye also loved animals and was a longtime supporter of the SPCA. Anyone that knew her knew that her 3 dogs, Baby, Jack and Charlie were her babies whom she spoiled rotten.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Claire Lincecum and Geneva Moore who have diligently cared for Faye 24/7, allowing her to remain in the comfort of her home the past few years.
She is survived by 1 step-son, George Perkins of Baton Rouge, LA and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Perkins; her parents, Clarence and Alta Floyd; 2 sisters, Oleta Floyd Moore and Ima (Dina) Floyd Morris and 1 brother, John (Buck) Floyd.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington, Texas. Interment will follow at Moore Cemetery also in Arlington, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 1:00pm in the chapel prior to the service on Saturday.
