Celebration of Life: 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Lamar Baptist Church, 1000 W Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76012.
Blane was born December 13, 1979 in Grand Prairie. He graduated from Lamar High School in 1998. He had a career with KT Electric as a Project Manager/Estimator. In his spare time, Blane enjoyed all kinds of sports, especially the Texas Rangers. He even helped coach his daughter's soccer team. He also cherished the time he spent with his friends and family. Whenever someone needed help, Blane was always there to assist.
Blane was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on July 11, 2018 and began a long and hard fight. During his battle, he never missed a day of work and always went to the gym. He never allowed the cancer to dictate how he would live his life. He always said that his fight with cancer was for his daughters, Avery Rain Kinsey and Carmen Dee Norwood.
During his time in this world, Blane inspired and touched many lives. His courageous attitude, compassion for others, and passion for family and friends is something that others could only ever hope to have. He will truly be missed by so many people.
Survivors: daughters, Avery Rain Kinsey and Carmen Dee Norwood; mother, Valorie Norwood; father, Robert Norwood and wife, Dona; step-brothers, Bruce Daniel Thomas and Joshua Allen Burell; maternal grandmother, Deloris "Nana" Kimbrell; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and a host of best friends who were always there for Blane night and day.
