Everyone knew him as a giving, selfless, caring, but especially resilient man. Throughout his four and a half years battle with cancer, he never gave up and courageously beat the original diagnosis of twelve to eighteen months. A loving family man, nothing brought him more joy than his grandchildren did and he loved being “Poppy” to them.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, boating, and being at the lake house. He enjoyed fishing trips, lunches with his cousins, and you could always find him watching the Dallas Cowboys if a game was on.
His parents, his mother-in-law Jeanie Hulsey, and his grandson, Brenden Ward, precede him in death.
Bobby is survived by his wife Debbie Cole of Arlington, Texas, his daughter Breah and husband, Jon-Michael Morrison, his son Brian and wife, Lindsey Cole, Ashley and David Price, Trea and Amanda Ward, and Blake and Seerel Meadows, his grandchildren, Bronson and Brecklyn Cole, Darla Mae and Mabrey Morrison, Archer and Landry Price, Madelyn and Allison Ward, and his sister Patricia Barrett and husband Frank O’Brien. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 with a funeral service to follow. A committal service will be held at 3:00 p.m. to conclude the services at Moore Memorial Gardens.
