

He attended Mineral Wells high school and received his Masters in Electrical Engineering & Industrial Technology at Texas A&M Commerce.
B.J. was a military veteran. He joined the Navy at the young age of 17 and he was enlisted until 1970. He was a Landing Safety Officer (LSO) on the USS Lexington CV-16 aircraft carrier during the Vietnam war.
He worked at DFW airport when it first opened and played a significant role in the planning and implementation of the airport’s tram system. B.J. was a government employee for a major part of his career. He worked at LTV, General Motors, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin and Bell Helicopter. He retired in August 2015 at the age of 69.
B.J. was an avid reader with hundreds of books and loved to play softball so much that even after his playing days were over he continued to coach. He was a whiz in the kitchen and a force to be reckoned with when cards or dominos were involved.
B.J. met Linda Ezzell while working at LTV. They were together for 35 years and had 3 beautiful children.
B.J. was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle. His family was the most important thing in his life, and no one he knew was ever in need if he could do anything about it.
Bobby James “B.J.” White is survived by his 3 children: Stephanie Iverson and husband Todd, Chris White and wife Valerie, and Amber Rice and husband Brandon; his former wife Linda; his brother Jerry and his sister Ida; 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James & Lela Gay.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the many acts of the kindness shown during this most difficult time. May God bless each of you, and may your lives be filled with as much joy as BJ brought to ours.
Memorial services will be held at Moore Funeral Home in the Chapel on Friday, January 8th at 10:00am. Viewing will be Thursday evening at the same place from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

Burial will be at Bosley cemetery in Santo, Palo Pinto County Tx at 3:00pm conducted with military honors.
