Bond Taylor Miller was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on February 10, 1985. He was an imaginative, sweet, and sensitive child who grew up to be a poet and philosopher, earning an Associates degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Bond spent his life in DFW, becoming an expert yoga practitioner who brought others into his studio’s community. He was a writer, creating smart and complex anthems and manifestos. At an early age, Bond was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, a debilitating condition that he fought and lived with his entire life. As a teen, Bond joined the AA and NA communities, as both an addict and sponsor. He touched many lives during those years, offering rides to friends, caring for them when they were ill, and being supportive in any way necessary. On March 3, 2020, Bond passed away unexpectedly in his home in Arlington. He is survived and missed by his mother, Lydia D. Miller, and sister, Elizabeth Nelson. Family and friends gathered for an intimate memorial on March 6th at River Legacy Park where Bond spent many sunny afternoons with his closest friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bond’s name to Arlington Charities (arlingtoncharities.org). He is loved and missed, and finally at peace.
