Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76012. Visitation: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home. Interment: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, 75211.

Boyd was born March 15, 1947 to Robert and Thelma McMullan in in Carthage, Missouri and raised in Corsicana, Texas. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force shortly after graduating high school and served honorably for 15 years.

Boyd was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who loved to fish in his spare time. He was also a longtime member of Sagamore Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors: wife of 43 years, Dorothy Smith McMullan; children, Shannon McMullan Diamond and husband, Michael, De Ann Stebbins and husband, Eddie, and Jeremy Almand and wife, Shannon; grandchildren, Thomas and Patrick Diamond, Austie Money and husband, Kevin, Eddie Stebbins, IV and wife, Mandy, Trevor Almand, Jason Almand and wife, Krista, Kaylee Almand, Zaine Almand, Ashley Lambert, Hannah Lambert, and Leah Lambert; great-grandchildren, Gunner Cash Money, Lucy Faye Money, Brenna Stebbins, Laken Stebbins, Lane Stebbins; siblings, James Seaton Young and wife, Dana, Roberta Lorance and husband, Jim, and Gary McMullan and wife, Kathi; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
