Brenda B. Delatte

After Hurricane Katrina devastated the Westbank of New Orleans—where she spent much of her young adult life—Brenda moved to Arlington. In Texas, she began working at Sam’s Wholesale, where her steady work ethic and considerate nature were evident, and where she especially enjoyed the people and her co-workers. Throughout her life, Brenda was deeply cherished, marked by loyalty and thoughtfulness in the ways she cared for others and held close the people who mattered most.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Joseph Delatte, Sr.; her sons, John Paul Delatte and Richard Joseph Delatte Jr.; her mother, Elizabeth Francis Billiot; her Father, Elwood Abbey Billiot; her brothers, Joseph Israel (Betty), Robert Junius (Valerie), Earl Elwood (Pauline), Curtis Anthony (Elsie), Rene James (Sharon); and her sisters, Barbara Ann (Jim), Carolyn (Kenneth).

She is survived by two sisters, Eva and Deb, and one brother, Charles (Shirley). She is also survived by daughter-in-law Melissa Delatte, and grandchildren, Cerah Stelly (Jonathan) and Baby Charlotte, John Paul Delatte (Amelia) and future baby Delatte, Victoria Delatte and baby Elena, Samantha Delatte, and two other Grandsons, Ryan and Paul Delatte of Gretna, LA.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, August 7th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Service at 11:00 a.m., located at 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, Texas 76012.
