Carl was born March 22, 1937, in Fort Worth. Carl was a member of South Pointe Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Carl resided at the Clyde Cosper Texas State Veterans Home.
He was predeceased by his high school sweetheart and wife of 56 years, Sara; father, Cecil James Moore Sr.; mother, Velma Moore; and brother, James Cecil Moore Jr.
Survivors: Sons, Ray Moore and Chris Moore and his wife, Shawne Moore; eight grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; four nieces; and one nephew.
