Carole A. Narramore, of Arlington, Texas, died peacefully in her sleep in her home on July 26, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born in Ely, Nevada on May 26, 1930, to Reed and Della Wright and received a double degree from Brigham Young University. On January 31, 1953, Carole married the love of her life Alfred D. Narramore. They resided in Arlington, Texas where they raised their four wonderful daughters.
Carole had a 40 year career in title insurance and retired from Trinity-Western Title Company in 1999. After retiring, Carole taught and mentored knitting classes at TCC. She was a member of several bridge clubs and loved needlepoint. Carole thoroughly loved baking for local churches, the women’s shelter and her many friends. Her love of food and cooking inspired her daughters to become excellent cooks and write a cookbook to memorialize their family recipes. Her loving, caring nature has been an inspiration for her family and friends.
Carole was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfred, her brother and sister in law, Jack and Sue Wright and her parents. She is survived by her daughters Victoria (Vicki) Vannatta and her husband Jim (Boyd, Texas), Kimberly Kinder and her husband Bryan (Fort Worth, Texas), Sherran Fear and her husband Doug (Mansfield, Texas) and Melissa (Missy) Trubatisky and her husband Steve (Austin, Texas). In addition to her daughters, she was loved by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Carole will be greatly missed on this earth but was welcomed in paradise with open arms by our Lord and Savior. In lieu of flowers, please offer donations to the Wise Hope Shelter and Crisis Center.
