

Casimiro (Cass) was born February 13th, 1939 to Casimiro (Casey) Sr. and Josefa in San Marcos, Texas. To his friends and family, Casimiro was known as Joe. At five years of age, Casey Sr. moved his family to Watts, California where he worked on constructing Interstate 5, later opening a barber shop, while working as an auto mechanic. Joe was the eldest of 10 siblings, Milo, Rudy, Ray, Robert, Dickie, Stella, Linda, Dora, Susie and Victoria. As the oldest brother, Joe regularly showered his brothers and sisters with gifts, support and guidance. Joe was a fierce American patriot often seen in his trademark American flag shirt. Joe was an expert marketer, using his skills to sell various items. Later, Joe helped ensure his nation had what it needed by driving a semi-truck delivering goods to those in need. He ended his career with Pacific Bell in which he received a pension. Joe was passionate about sports, helping coach kids to excel in football and baseball. He loved John Wayne movies and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, introducing his daughter, Roxane to the team. Joe was a friend and mentor to so many, active in his local 1818 Moose Lodge, helping with various charitable causes. His smile was contagious and treated everyone he met as a friend. In 1991, Joe married the love of his life, Donna, his yellow rose, later relocating and buying a home in Arlington, Texas. Joe is survived by his wife of 31 years, Donna and his children Roxane, Tammy, John Joseph and Charles along with his grandchildren, Samantha, Daniel, Jade, Addison and Jake and great grandchildren Alex, Zach, Fiona and Emsley.
