Charlene C. Beck

Charlene Clark Beck, 77, went to be with our Lord and her beloved husband of 44 years, Henry (Buddy) Beck on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Charlene was a loving wife, mother, grandma, GG, aunt, sister, and friend. She opened her home to everyone. Strangers were soon absorbed and became true family. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed cooking for her family. Charlene and Buddy were long time members of Hillcrest Park Baptist Church. For the past ten years, Charlene was a member of Woods Chapel. In addition, she enjoyed and loved her Ladies Sunday School Class. She is survived by her children, Sherry Beck Carson, Michael Beck, Debra Beck Bassham and husband Charlie, Gary Beck and wife Michelle; adopted children, Judy Samuel, Gina and Jud Piner; grandchildren: Justin and wife April, Jamie and husband Kevin, Joshua Roberts, Kandi, Josh and wife Melissa, Meagan and husband Raymond, Misti, Bianca and husband Evan, Chelsea, Chloe, Hannah and Jake; great grandchildren: Shelby and husband David, Brendon, Kayleigh, Jessica, Kannon, Cade and much anticipated Beck twins; siblings: Ken Clark and wife Hazel, Herbert Clark and wife sue, Earlene Copeland, Ruby Herrington, Retha Hart, and life-long best friend Ruth Beck Strube, many nieces and nephews, and numerous beloved friends. Services: Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Woods Chapel at 11:00 am. Pastor Joe Estes will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Moore funeral Home.
