She was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Wilbur E. and Virginia A. Wright on September 9, 1947. She graduated from Galena Park High School in Houston in 1966. When she was younger, Chris loved to travel with her motorcycle friends across the country. She visited 48 states riding on the back of a motorcycle and she was one of the first women to hold a lifelong membership with the San Jacinto Highrollers.
The last five years she enjoyed annual RV camping trips and attending luncheons with members of her high school class.
The family would like to thank Steve Zablosky for his love and companionship to Chris over the last 10 years.
Chris is survived by her sister, Connie Underwood and her husband, Mark; niece, Laurie Weiand and her family Jason, Aidan, Colin, and Corbin; nephew, Mikey Underwood and his family Nikki, Jelly, Mya, and Caitie; and wonderful friend, Steve Zablosky.
A celebration of life will be held in January of 2022.
