Christine Bernadette Kelly

Christine was raised in Waco, Texas, and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1945. She married Joe R. Kelly in 1950, and together they had four children. She was a homemaker, caring for her children throughout her life and was a loving mother and devoted wife.

Christine loved gardening, traveling, walking, volunteering at her church, doing crossword puzzles, and completing jigsaw puzzles. A devout Catholic, she was a kind and loving mother, devoted wife, sister, and grandmother, and she loved her pets.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, and son, Patrick, as well as her parents. Christine is survived by her daughters, Barbara Kelly, Catherine Stroup, and Carolyn Kelly; grandchildren, Courtney, Marilyn, Joshua, and Whitney; and great-grandchildren, Luke, Layla, and Joseph.

In Lieu of Flowers, family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1927 Green Oaks Blvd Arlington, TX 76017 in her name.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday January 8, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1927 Green Oaks Blvd Arlington, TX 76017, Funeral Mass will follow the rosary beginning at 11 AM with a burial to follow the funeral at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012.
