Clyde was born the fourth of five children to John T. Borton, Sr. and Jessie E. Reeve Borton September 03, 1943 in Popular Bluff, Missouri, and had resided in Arlington, Texas since 1980. He was a was a self employed carpenter. He graduated High School in 1961 from Southwestern Academy in Keene, Texas, and from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1969.
He married his High School sweetheart, Mary E. Norman, August 11, 1963.
Clyde was proceeded in death by his Parents and two Brothers, LeRoy E. Borton, and Leland U. Borton. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary E. Borton, two Daughters Kelli S. Curry, and Elizabeth E. (Beth) Borton, both of Arlington, Texas, Brother John (Tom) Borton, Jr. and Wife Barbara, of Cleburne, Texas, one Sister, Myrtle E. Thomas and husband Clyde, of Ringgold, Georgia. He will be missed by his large extended family, and many friends and wonderful neighbors.
