Cody I have just heard of your passing and I am so very sorry for your family, Children and friends... You were a sweet fun guy who always had a smile on his face. I will always remember when your first child was born and you and Shana brought the baby over to Dustin's townhouse. We had so many good times back in the day. I am glad I got to know you and all that came along with knowing you. I know all your Kennedale folks are missing you. It broke my heart to hear this today, and sorry I was not able to be there for your funeral. Fly with the angels my old friend. Love Shannon from B-Town :)

Everytime I saw you I would tell you how handsome you are. I told you that you had the world within your hands to be sucessful or whatever you set out to do. I was so proud of you. You helped me by doing work around our home. on Feb 29th, I begged, Pleaded with God as I didn't want to let you go .Our hearts are so empty and pained for losing you. Cody, you showed me how courageous you are and how many people's lives you touched. They all told me how you were good to them. The proudest I saw you is when you brought Haley and Cody Jr. for us to see, You were a proud Father. I wish I could have eased your pain during your difficult times in life. I do know you are with your Daddy and Amy, Grandma & Grandpa Delk, Grandpa Long and Aunt Foylene & Ronnie and Cole. I feel you are in a beautiful place, fishing, hunting and playing jokes on everybody including us left behind. Ha! My prayers are with your Mom , Kathy, we feel her pain but don't know what to do to help her. Cody,Your courage saved seven strangers lives! Thanks for being my beautiful nephew. I'm so proud of you. I loved you Cody. You were a sweet boy. This is a very sad and tragic ending that ended too soon. We know not why a young life is gone. We will miss you. My love and prayers are with Cathy. We will see you in the sweet bye and bye. Cathy keep in touch with me. Love and many prayers.

I have been sitting here looking at this blank page trying to find the words to describe the place you hold in my heart. You were an awesome friend and person with a genuine soul that was so easy to love. Your laugh and smile was infectious making it so simple being around you. Cody you are missed deeply, thank you for all the memories we shared. I will never forget you. We will see each other again someday. Nothing but love!

I met you 8 years ago and now its hard to believe your not here anymore. I remember taking motorcycle rides, how you treated me like a queen always. Cody taught me how to ride my first two wheel dirtbike. You would catch us riding that honda80 all over the neiborhood. I will always love and respect you big brother!
