Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Moore Funeral Home. Visitation: Friends may visit 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Courtnie was born in Dallas and grew up in Grand Prairie. She was beautiful and bubbly and was a friend to all. She was a member of Rock Fellowship.
Courtnie was preceded in death by her father, Charles Floyd; her grandfather, Charles C. Floyd; and her great-grandmother, Effie Myers.
Survivors: Daughter, Ansley; mother, Diane K. Floyd-Prater and stepfather, Kevin Prater; brother and sister, Ricky J. Floyd and Amber L. Floyd-Hindson; brother and sister-in-law, Tia Rodarti and Christopher "CJ" Hindson; aunt, Angela Simmons; uncle, Terry Simmons; nieces and nephews, Mikayla "Mikey" Hindson, Kaitlyn and Carson Floyd and Valentino Flores; and cousins, Amie and Brittany Palmer.
