

Curley Jackson passed away on December 17, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. Services are on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation will be from 6-8 Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. Curley Jackson was born on February 6, 1945 in Gloster, Mississippi to the late Mr. Robert Land and Mrs. Myrtis Roberts Jackson. Curley received his education in Gloster, Mississippi. He was employed for 17 years at Valspar Inc. and retired in 2001. He accepted Christ at an early age in Gloster. He joined New Beginning Worship Center in 2008 and was a faithful member of the church. He served as chairman of the Deacon Board and served the church beyond measure in every capacity. He will be greatly missed by his New Beginnings Family, affiliate churches, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sadie Robinson and brothers, Louis Jackson, Junious Jackson and Leroy Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Jackson; daughters, Katrina, Debra, Pam, Tywanda (Charlie) of Arlington, TX, Thealanda, Connie and Nikki of Dallas, TX and one son, Marvin of Monroe, LA; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Essie B. Williams of Brookhaven, Hazel Granger of Gloster, Betty Morgan of Natchez; brother, Emerson (April) of Houston, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; two special friends, Bruce Sams of Beaumont, TX and Lawrence Thomas of Euless, TX.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during their time of bereavement.
